Replace or Repair Cracked Rim?
1) Try to repair the crack. They said they weren't sure if it even could be, but it could be sent off and possibly repaired in 2-3 business days. The cost, I was told, would be around $150
2) Buy a new (likely a refubed) one. From what I can tell bouncing around online, I'd be looking at around $200-250 for a replacement rim.
My question is if repairing the rim to save the extra $50-100 is worth it. Some prudent information: I am looking at getting rid of the car within the next 6 months (2008 with around 65k miles on it, and being out of warranty is starting to worry me), I'm a recent college grad in my first few months of real employment and am looking for a rental property now, so the extra $100, while small to some, could be a bigger difference to me at this time. Having said that, my safety (as well as my passengers safety) trumps all savings.
Any input would be appreciated.

repair shops are all over, could find the one the original shop uses and go direct to wheel repair shop. That's what I have done in the past. Supply extra wheel so they can match the paint.
Could also look for used wheel.
