Best Oil for 2008 c350

Hello, I need to do my first oil change (since i owned this car 10 months ago) and was wondering if this oil would be good for the car.

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

Its Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I also heard c350 takes 8 Litres so im assuming i would need to of those.

thanks,

You can't go wrong with Mobil1 Synthetic, especially because theres a Mobil1 sticker under the hood!

You sure can go wrong, as OP has !!! That specific oil is M1 5W30, which does not pass the ACEA A3 requirements, nor is it approved by Mercedes Benz.

MB Approved Oils

If your weather is on the cold side, consider one of the many XW-30 oils listed. This 2008 C300 has had a steady diet of Castrol Edge Synth 0W30, with the ACEA A3 displaced on the bottle.

Either Mobil 1 0W40 or 5W40 which the dealers have been using for a few years, now. Check the MB oil sheet (229.5?) for a list of approved oils.

Don't fail to use the fleece filter if you are changing at 10K miles. About US $10 online.
