OEM Backup Camera Specs
Hi all!
I'm the proud leasee of a new 2012 C250 coupe - loving (almost) everything about it so far - but the backup camera is... useless. I'm coming from an Acura which has the wide-angle backup camera with the guidelines... reversing into a spot today, according to the backup camera I was over the lines, but not in the mirror, and it's just angled down a bit.
So, I've been looking into swapping out the OEM one, but haven't been able to find any specs on the original - some wiring diagrams, where the original camera connects to (ie, if the cable goes straight to the HU, or it's a short cable that connects at some junction), also the size of the camera and opening, etc or something from a maintenance manual would be great.
I'd love to replace it with something with a wider angle, and possibly some guidelines.
I've been searching around trying to find more information, but haven't run into any threads on anyone replacing the OEM

Factory camera with no guidelines? I installed my camera and I have yellow and green guidelines.
I'd think wider the angle more the distortion, at the same viewing distance.
