Are you referring to the round fog lights that we have?
If so, very simple.
There are 3 screws that holds that piece that surrounds the light. Torx screws. Undo those and the mesh piece will come off. Stick your hand in behind the light and turn either clockwise or counter-clockwise (forgot) and the bulb will come right off with it being attached to the wiring.

Oh awesome thanks! Sounds easy enough. One of the glasses cracked on the highway so I am looking to replace that side.
Is that the way to replace the glass portion or all of it as well then?
Also what sort of LED bulbs can I get for the fog portion? I love the JDM look but don't think enough people around here know it to understand it. So go with the LED look all around.

Those overlay tints aren't bad either. Are there any clear one's? Just so I can have sort of 3M protection on the fog, as my one side is cracking.

Yeah they got a bunch of colors. It's a good protection for
Headlights and fogs. Once they go bad just take them off and put a new one. All by protecting your headlights. I wish I woulda though about this sooner.

I got my kit today. Can anyone shed some light on how to do this for the fogs since they are on some kind of bulb holding that twists in the fog lights. Pictures are something?

You need either the BMW e39 bulb adapter or need to heavily mod, cut and solder the oem bulb holder. I opted for the adapter from ijdmtoy.com

Thanks for the info. Wish I've known this going into this. Haha!
I would've ordered everything I need from the same place. Now I'll wait for the adapters to come.

Sorry for the long reply.
I didn't use any adapters. I used the DIY on here where he used galvanized wire and some plastic cup pieces from a hardware store. Unfortunately he took the pictures down so explaining it doesn't help much.

Need some helping finding an adapter for the fog lights, I've searched previous threads and all links are dead.
Not sure if this adapter would work?

They do take some work to get th to fit well but mine are secure and have never moved. You really have to push the adapter in really hard from the back to get it to turn and snap into place. After I snapped the adapter in I just pulled on the bulb wires toile sure the bulb was tight against it and they have stayed there for months without budging. They aren't the perfect fix but they got the job done without much trouble.
