Hey guys. So I got an issue. My car is an '08 C350 with light package and everything except memory seats. Sometimes my headlights will turn on/off when in auto when it is bright out. Today when my headlights turned on in auto (and the small green notification on the switch was lit showing it was on) so i turned the switch to "off" and the lights turned off. Than when I turned it back to auto the headlights turned back on. This time I tapped my light switch while in auto and my headlights will turn/off every time I tap it. At night my headlights will turn on in auto no problem and does not turn off. This only happens when it's bright out in auto. I'm assuming it is the light switch but can someone confirm what the problem is how what the fix is? The car right now has 39,6xx just out of warranty and I just completed the 39k/40k service. My 08 C300 has the same issue. I also assume that it is the switch. I cycled the switch through all of the settings several times in case the contacts were dirty or something and it seems to happen less now. Bought mine CPO so I have warranty left. I will have it checked out the next time it is in for service.

Had a similar issue on my 08 C300. Dealer couldn't replicate so I **** a video of it one day. Showed it to my SA and they replaced the switch module. If you are just out of warranty, they may "good will" cover you.
