What do I really need exactly for W204 back-up camera?
Hi,
I own an used 2011 C300, and would also like to want a back-up camera.
At beginning, I tried to find a car radio shop to deal with that, but the dealer told me that I need a VIM for camera and wanted to charge me a big mount of money...
Fortunately, I found a thread here says I actually do need only a Fakra adapter instead. Moreover, I find I have a IPOD IPHONE cable on my car. (just as: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-BEN...#ht_500wt_1287)
But, now, I am confused. Does it mean that I have already had ipod kit and I can connect the camera directly to the kit and no need to buy a Fakra adapter?

i have a 2010 c300,however i can use that MERCEDES BENZ IPOD IPHONE INTERFACE CABLE as a video input with just another cable such as this cable. dont mind the colors of the cables at all.http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-RCA-Female...#ht_2982wt_977
