Water leaking in trunk

Hello people,

Notice some water inside the trunk (below carpet next to spare wheel well). Any one experience this?

C300 - 2010. Fix and trouble shooting should be covered by Warranty right?

Also, I know there's a campaign towards trunk lid adjustment, but don't know if it's applicable to 2010 models. Any way on getting recalls, SBs, BSP and others online??

Thx

You can check recalls here:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...callsearch.cfm

I think it might me a tail light issue or just the trunk rubber. But whatever the issue is, you should be covered by the warranty.

I would take the spare out & hop in the boot with a good torch . Have a trusted friend ! hose down the lid, lights, under the bumper bar & underneath where the boot drain is .

Good luck.

Check that the plastic grommets (5 per side) that attach the left and right plastic beauty covers of the trunk, next to the main trunk seal are seated properly. You can see them clearly when the trunk is open and they run the upper section close to the fender down to almost the bumper cover. Hope this helps.
