BTW, what tire sizes do you have. Definitly not 18" .

ya 16s for the elegance package here. 17s came with the avantgarde. Will definitely be getting 19's soon. I was looking into B8 for shocks, around $1000usd for the front and rears. Will look into B6 as well, thank you!

Kevin, I think he's on the stock 17's no?
ya, after shocks and rims, don't think i'll be doing anymore modding. Stick to DIYs when i have time, thinking of getting a proper jack and stands to do the shocks myself when the time comes.

Even car washes here are horrible, they lightly water down the car then start scrubbing with a 10 yr old microfiber picked off the ground. 2nd car wash after picking up my new car, it already has swirl marks, now I think I'm the only person in shanghai that self washes their own car in the yard haha.

Unlike most people, I prefer the 16" wheels if they clear the calipers. They are great for rough roads, some times I whip around through corners that I'd be afraid to do with 19's.

I would suggest you avoid 19's in China, I work in Dongguan and pass through SZ and been around Nanjing and Beijing and on average the roads suck. 18's is the limit and even then I would stick with 17's to be on the safe side. Also, get a good set of lock bolts for your aftermarket wheels if they're brand name.

Yes the car washes are horrible but once in a while you find a place more competent. I get our fty car polished once a year and enforce self washes by our driver the rest of the time. I hand carried cleaning supplies from Hong Kong just for this purpose.

thnx for the suggestion, i'll look into some 18's and see how it'll look. Shanghai roads are not bad, occasional rough patches and potholes out in the burbs but I rarely go there. Though still might be a good idea to go with 18s

Same, I bought some meguiars wax from taobao and was fake, so had my friend bring me some Mothers 3 step wax system from the states haha.

Kevink2: the 16's just about clear the calipers. they look ok for the car but kind of ugly.
