HI Guys, i am new to this and a new MB owner, i need to remove the tailgate interior trim panel on my 2009 c class, hopefully without damage, but i am not sure how to. can any one advise please?

Unscrew the torx head screws at the hard plastic strip near the trunk latch then carefully pull on the panel to pop the plastic clips out of the liner. Undo the wire attached to the light in the plastic strip. Then work your hand in between the carpeted liner and the trunk lid itself, look where the other plastic clips are and get your hand right around where the clips are and pull down. The clips will release. Done.

If you happen to break any of the plastic clips they are $1.90 each at the dealership. I bought a few extra last time I was in.
