2015 Carrara White Metallic Porsche Cayman
Ordered a new ride today
Well, I took the plunge...
Ordered a 2013 Porsche Boxster in a white/yachting blue color scheme and loaded up with some cool features.
I'll be a W204 owner for a while though as I asked to take delivery in early Feb. While we don't really have winters here in Dallas, we do still get ice and I don't want to risk it with a new car. I'm taking delivery in early Feb, then going out of town till March. By then the top down weather should hit Texas.
If anyone is interested...they offered me $16,500 for my 2009 C300 6MT with 61,700 miles on it. I think I paid like $30-$31k new so I thought it was a decent price...over 50% of the original value even with 62k miles. I think my brother is going to take it off my hands though so he may be popping up on here this winter.
Overall the W204 was imo the best/most reliable car I've owned and I'll be sad to see it go.

Its a base manual. I think it stickered at $34k and I ended up paying like $30.5k before tax.
I doubt any dealer anywhere would give me $20k. That would mean it retained 2/3 of its value after 4 years/62,000 miles.
I think I could easily sell it on my own for $18k so I may go that route.

Wasn't to me. Have you driven the 2013? Totally different car. The S is faster in a straight line which I don't care about, not much different otherwise. Both feel like an exotic compared to my C300. My Boxster cost exactly the same as a base Boxster S, but as it's my DD, I wanted the luxuries over the additional HP.
