brake question
hello guys!
my rear brakes need to be replace soon, i'm at 45k c350 2009. I did some research and it seems Akebono pads is what people recommend, but what about the Rotors? do we only need to change the pads and not the rotors? if rotors are recommended also... any brands in particular ??
Thanks!

I've got DBA slotted rotors ordered. Had them on my WRX and loved them. As for if needing to change pads and rotors at the same time, that would depend on the condition of your rotors so I can't really comment.

I'm sure this is better than the stock ones but is there any rotors that have better looks?

My Service Advisor told me as long as I didn't wear completely through the pads and score the rotors- Mercedes recommended Rotor replacement after second pad replacement. Like previously stated- depends on condition of rotors.

The W204 is designed to provide the majority of braking power to the rear wheels when brakes are applied while traveling in a straight line. If braking in a corner- the brake force is distributed more evenly. That's why W204s always have dirtier rear wheels. I have never heard of a car doing this before this.

that's very interesting.. i figured as much ever since i got my car, always so much brake dust in the back.... BUT if majority of the braking is done in our back then why are the slotted rotors in the fronts???
