Glove box help???
Hey I'm new here, I just purchased a used C300 and the glove box came out. I noticed it was half in but didn't think much of it, I opened it and it came off -.- I don't think anything is broken but I was wondering how to put it back in. Every time I try to put it back in I feel like I'm going to brake the plastic pieces on the side of the glove box. If anyone can help instruct me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. I know this sounds dumb, but I just don't want to brake it

Years back, the door stop in my C300 came adrift and the open door dropped down. I cried at the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

same issue glove box door fell (W204_) - but long after leaving the dealer...
I had the same issue... trying to close the glove box door and it fell
MB service is charging a whooping 1300 USD to repair it....
I could fix back the glove box door but every time I open it, the door goes to the ground.
Does anybody knows what is the mechanism/part that holds the glove box in place?
I've searched OEM parts and It's 500 USD for the full glove compartment and 500 use for the glove box door - but I still couldn't find what was broken
