Did the OP really say if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all?
Welcome to the internet. I think your car is really really really ugly.

Come ON!! I left the spoiler off, give me a break
Thanks, I thought the car was done tastefully considering how extreme the kit was. It's different from 90% of the cars here so I thought I'd post it up so everyone could have something different to look at, didn't think I'd have a piece of my *** chewed off Anyways the trunk is wrapped flat with a small section of gloss, Because there was so much black in the grill I wanted the car to have some symmetry. Still deciding whether to keep it or not.
I'm turning 39 next month so just able to swing it
Don't drive it everyday but mix it up often with my others.
Last but not least I set the tips back a little more to keep the exhaust build up off of the rear bumper, hate that stuff.
Yes very.
If I was planning on selling the car would I have spent this much time and money on the car? Besides I reside in the DC metro area and selling it here won't be a problem, lots of young money. I'm a bit of a hobbiest wheeler dealer.
It's like my mother always told me....
"Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana Rana,
And codeine and goddamit, you little mother******
If you aint got nothin' nice to say then don't say nothin'"
....Uh...
-Marshal Mathers
Actually thats exactly what MY mom said too!
lol

Man, I was about to write this word for word prior to seeing your post...in addition, I think the fitment is near perfect, love the wheels as they remind me of the E46 M3 wheels which were always a favorite of mine, just do not understand the black vinyl on the lower trunk, kinda breaks up the flow a little for me...
Most of these guys with negative comments would kill just to have the front fenders, and while I normally agree with RLE, I completely disagree this car loses value on the open market. You can never get all mod money back as we know, but this car pulls thousands more than a stock lux every day of the week...lots of spoiled young buyers out there.
Picture 3 is badass...Is this a daily driver for you? If yes, are you a younger guy? ( I am too old to pull something like this off daily...)
One more question - did you intentionally have the exhaust extended past the diffuser that far?
Great makeover, very unique and probably turns heads everywhere you go....One thing not commented on, wife got a car as a bonus??? Not a company car but a "gift"...Nice......

This thread is starting to veer off in an unpleasant direction. Enough about the OP, his family, or the presumed age of those who have been critical. Focus on the car and skip the insults, please. Feel free to express your disagreement with what the OP did, but do so in a civil, and if possible, helpful manner. Thank you for your cooperation.

The responses so far are unfortunately so predictable wrt the tone many took.
I first read this yesterday before anyone responded and was going to post a "play nice" msg after commenting, but alas.
OP, my personal feedback:
Actually like the fenders, but probably would've painted them body color. Very unique lower grille!
Don't like the clear tails due to the Altezza effect, but it's not so bad as on a black car. Lightly tint/smoke them?
Overall, def good job on fitment and transformation from the Lux model!

I understand that everyone has different taste and opinions and when posting you have to take the good with the bad. Be prepared to be poked back right?
I never thought my poor car would actually make 2 people throw up 1 person sick, and 2 more very SAD! Sorry.
I'm grateful we have MBworld some just don't understand diplomacy.
All in good fun POST ON!!!

Glad you are here and hope you will enjoy the forum. Actually, what we're working toward is rising above, and then stopping, uncivil and impolite "poking". I am asking that we not lower ourselves to retaliate in kind, but instead take the higher road. I'll be doing my best to help "encourage" that as your local, friendly, moderator.

Nice project, also not my mods/taste , but keep in mind : it's your car, if you like it than it's ok.
Who cares what other people think about it ?
Enjoy your car !

When the car was in all silver it looked generic and too much like the WALD cars. Wanted to be a little different so we painted them flat with gloss black honeycomb mesh which isn't visible through these pics. As for the grill I bought a second grill without the MB badge and cut the lower louver off and fit it in the opening.

I'm pretty disappointed in the way responses are given actually. I would not of expected this type of mannerism from a Mercedes forum. You'd think people driving a Benz would have better class, I guess not...

The double chin bugs the hell out of me... Why that lower "grill"? Can you put mesh there instead? It looks like a grill embedded in a bumper with a grill on top. Go dark with your tail lights and remove the batman symbol on the front fenders. Then you'll be getting back somewhere decent!
Just my .02c!
Enjoy the car!

Most everyone that installs a body kit on any car for that matter, stuff's some sort of chicken wire in every vent or opening.
Just trying to be a little different and utilizing a spare grill I had laying around the garage. The only thing I might do different is completely satin black the rest of the chrome on the upper grill. But I just love that GIANT Merc symbol in bright shinny Chrome.
After some thought I'll be blacking out the tail lights real soon!!
As far as tuning: Headers, X-pipe, K&N filters and getting the ECU flashed at Speedtuning next Monday in Silver spring MD.
I'm trying not to fall to deep into the trap
