I know there are videos on how to install the HIDs into a 07-10 w204, however I have a question. A video i found on youtube, shows that I have to bend the clip {which i did and it broke} but before I didn't bend it and just left it, and it clipped on fine, however i found my hids had stopped working as the little stick had broken. I'm wondering before i install my second set, is it because i didn't bend that clip?.....

 

What brand of hids did you use? It could just be a cheap hid kit that fell apart.

I believe bending the clip just makes the installation a huge hell of a lot easier. It allows one side to remain hooked into place while you deal with the wires.
