C230 (W204) how to produce more power (for do-it-yourselfer's)
Hello,
I've searched this forum (and other's) and haven't found anything on increasing or producing more power for C230 W204's specifically. Did a number of searches but can't find info (and if I missed it, then I'm sorry for reposting).
I recently purchase a pre-owned 2009 C230 4Matic W204, and I'm in no way dissatisfied with the car (and currently on warranty), but thinking about mods for future. I LOVE this car. My first really nice car ever and it's by far my favorite.
BUT, for future, after warranty, thinking about trying to do some things to get more pep from this car. It's a 2.5 V6 and I really thought I would find plenty of info on how to get more power from this engine but not finding any info.
For a do-it-youself'er, I'm looking for simple solutions, like ECU flash, minor intake/exhaust mods, this sort of thing (not crazy dyno tuning or anything like that). Just looking for some entry-level horsepower gains like 10-20 more horse.
I'm new to MB's, so to all the really experienced guys I'm sorry to sounds green but I'm hoping to learn more.
