2012 w204 cqan not be fender rolled!!

Got the new wheels installed with H&R ss and I hear rubbing when I hit a large bump on the road. Am currently not filling the car full tank gas because am affraid I might rub more.

So I visited my friend shop and I had him checked the rear fender. He said that the rear fender of my car is double weilded on the edge to make the fender structure stronger and can not be rolled or nothing to be rolled. He said the only way was to to slowly hammer the fender and hope the paint would not chip, which its going to be impossible. Another suggestion was to try pulling the fender out slowly.

Am seriously bothered by this. Are the c300 2011 below has the same fender designed? If so how did you all get the rear wheels not to rub?

Any advise would be great.

That makes sense as most ppl who roll their fenders on Stanceworks are only dealing with rolling the fender lining at most and the metal lip. To do it properly would require bodywork. But I'm curious as to what your suspension and wheel set up is as on my 2010 I'm running 18x8.5 at +33 (225/40/18) on the rear with H&R SS and Bilstein B8 and have no rubbing issues even with a full car.

Rubbing with only Super Sports installed means you're probably running too low of an offset. What are the specs of your wheels?

Rear wheels are 19" x 10", +55 offset mate with 275/30ZR19

Skinnier as is 255 instead of 275 wide tires, that shouldn't affect the comfort too much, it's more if you change the sidewall that would affect ride comfort.

Shocks are good, even my wife doesn't complain. She actually complained when we were running the H&R ss on the stock lux shocks. Now she says the car rides and handles so much better. I was afraid she'd complain it was too stiff but she's got no issues.

And no, doesn't feel like drift car, though my friend running Bilstein PSS9's say my set up rides stiffer than his car.

shave it...i shaved my rears on my e90 bmw..came out perfect! much more clearance and was not visible at all from the outside..just make sure u get it done by someone with experience.
