Stop & go.. is a gear sticking?
I have a 2009 c300 with 45,000 miles on it. Since I got the care (july with 39,000 miles) its been very "jumpy" friends who drive it say that same thing.
My friend has a 2010 and it does NOT drive like mine. Mine feels very rough. When accelerating most of the time I feel as if I am stuck in the transition of 3rd gear to the 4th - if that makes any sense. In order for it to change I need to speed up (4000-5000 RPM). Also when putting the car in drive (only drive not reverse) the car rolls and then jumps and starts accelerating.
I have run my gas tank down a few times to below the E if that makes a difference and I put regular. I cant tell you what service has been done on the car as MB will not tell me what the past owner has done. No accidents on car fax. Can it be the transmission? Any ideas?

Sounds like low transmission oil. Did you have it serviced at 39,000 miles? If not, get it done. If you did, make sure the oil level is right.

Did not have the car serviced at 39,xxx. All I know is I had an oil change done at 45,000 Miles few weeks ago. He claims all fluids were fine- this was not done at MB. Car also seems like it wants to move when my foot is on the break at the red light - like it wants to move - hope this makes sense. Also he was saying that its a sealed transmission where would I find the trans fluid? Should I have it flushed?

All automatics want to move forward when held on the brake. I don't quite understand the problem.

if I have my foot on the break at a red light it feels like i am pressing on the gas at the same time - which im not- if that makes more sense. The car jerks as if it wants me to let me foot of the break and move. The car is very jumpy.

Take your C300 to the MB dealer and get the 39.000 mile transmission service. Make sure the MB service people understand they also have to change the torque convertor fluid at the same time and should receive a full 9 liters for the entire refill. If they dont, take it to other dealers until a competent service department can be found.
While there the MB dealer can do a FREE TCU software upgrade which helps the shifting sequences. 7G transmissions for W204's 2010 and before are subject to this free upgrade.
And whomever said that the 7G transmission is sealed is ignorant or just plain LIED. Check your service manual the transmission fluid change is there in black and white. Although originally MB wanted the 7G to be service-free, as it is a DOG of a transmission it needs its 39k mile service.
