Hey guys, I have a question to ask regarding tire sizes..... I have a 09 C300 and looking for winter tires to put on my OEM rims. I came across a pair of 215/55/17 Michelin X-ICE and I wanted to know if these will fit for my fronts. I will have to grab another pair for the rear, just wanted to see if its worth grabbing them. Thanks

Check the tire size calculator at 1010tires.com. 215/50-17 is comparable in overall diameter to the OE size. I think the 55 series ones you found have too tall a sidewall, therefore too large a diameter/circumference. Their calculator will let you know if its within their 6% guideline.
