Automatic wipers will not turn off!
Saw this thread and not sure how true it is about headlights being connected to the wiper system.

However, the past 2 weeks I start my car - start moving and my auto wipers start going on & DONT TURN OFF. Meanwhile, its dry as can be out, not an ounce of water outside. Now i have tried turning them off completely off which obviously work however turning back to the rain sensing option just continues the issue. tired getting car washes thinking there a dirty sensor (if any).
MB says they have never heard of this when I made an appointment to drop the car off. any thoughts?
