2013 C300 4matic 0-60?

Coming from the W203. Looking at 2013 328xi or C300 4matic. Just trying to compare 0-60. I found multiple sources for the new 328xi 0-60 ranging from 5.7s - 6s (auto). Can't seem to find anything other than MB USA site for C300 at 6s. Any other sources you have seen for 0-60 for C300 4matic?

This is the 248HP detuned 3.5L.

The 4 cylinder C250 is pulling low to mid 6 second times for most on here (I got 6.5, 6.4, 6.4 on mine the other day with the G-tac iPhone app and not doing anything special to launch it). I'd say 5.9 - 6 would be about right for a 3.5L C300.

Considering that the C250 beats the 328 in the 30-50MPH pull, I'd just about bet that the new C300 will own it as well.

MB Canada claim 7.2 sec. to 100kph, or 62 mph, for the 250, a touch faster for the C300 4matic.

So that's probably what they really do.

Looking into the ebrochure section on the MB CDN website, it says 0-100km is 6.8s. Whereas the MB USA site says 0-60 is 6s.

100km is 62mph right? So it takes almost a full second more to go from 60mph to 62mph? That doesn't seem right.

They probably taken geographic into affect too. The sea level is higher, so the air density is lower.

Mercedes has been known for years to be conservative with their posted performance data on their cars.

The slowest instrumented test by a magazine on the C250 was Motor Trend with a 6.9 Sec 0-60 on a very green test car. The fastest documented was 6.3 seconds - nearly a second faster than MB lists for the C250, which was in a C&D test.

My thoughts are still the same. The new C300 is most likely a high 5 second to 6 second flat car in the real world. Time will tell - my dealer is already using them as loaners, so they are getting out there and surely to God one will get tested soon.
