picked up '13 C300 Sport 4 Matic
New owner here.
Picked up as a new daily yesterday, with the approval from my lovely wifey.
Currently I own a S2000 (weekend/track car) but I now need a daily driver.
I still gave S2000 a thought for the job, gave it a few tries for a couple of weeks, but S2000 failed. (no torque, okay mpg, hard to get in/out (my Recardo has to do a lot with it..), loud interior, and jaw shattering ride). S2000 will shine in the garage and the track events from now.
I've had a few MBs so it's basically the same MB as others. Rock solid, comfortable, luxury, torquy, safe, quite, 4 doors, 7 speed tranny, good mpg. Just what a perfect car (not a race car, but a car) should be.
On to some pictures:
this interior rocks. easy to get in/out, comfortable, bluetooth, good seat support, and the best thing is the flat-bottom steering with thumb-grips. It feels and looks a lot better than our dated S2000 wheel.
Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with the car and the purchase. If you are in the market go see Jay Lee at Benzel Busch in Englewood, NJ. Very professional rep, no BS like others.
Was looking at 328i also but I didn't like the engine sound, shape of the front (looks like an angry bird), felt numb at the wheel, and the drive in the C300 was better as far as "being connected with the car" goes. Very weird how their roles have changed. A few years ago BMWs were the "ultimate driving machines". Now we are realizing others have caught on and BMW is slowing losing its touch. I've recently read a review on the new 6 vs the new SL. SL basically stompted on the 6 in every performance category except the back seats. What is going on?

What a beautiful car, I love the white/black combo. Congrats on your purchase! Can you give me your impression with night-time driving going from the HIDs on your S2000 to the Halogen lights on your C?

thank you.
it's a bit different i guess. while the Honda's HIDs show "true" daylight color at night, you have to know there is that usual cut off line from projector lens. so anything above the cut off line, it's pitch dark... whereas.. in the Benz's halogen lights, there is no cut off line so you see a lot more of what's ahead of you but in yellowish tone.
I can't tell what's better yet since each setup has pros and cons.
HIDs definitely look better from outside however.

yea i just can't get over how nice this steering wheel is. it's like something straight out of an Audi R8, RS5, S4, RS4.. etc.
