Smile CF Diffuser on a C300 Luxury?

Is it possible/does anyone know if a CF Diffuser on a C300 Luxury would fit? Glancing at my rear bumper, the shape that it would replacing tells me no.

What do you guys think?

I think one doesn't wear running shoes with a tux.

Very cute reply, I like it.

It's actually been transformed into a Sport, but it is lacking this last element.

Thoughts?

If it's already been transformed with sport bumpers then yes it will fit unless you got one of those rep bumpers where the diffuser portion was actually molded into the bumper. Frankly this should've been self explanatory if you just popped your head behind your bumper to see if that portion was removable.

my first post basically said that last line. So, a sports bumper would be needed, just as I assumed. Thanks.

The only rear "diffuser" I know of for Luxury models that doesn't require a bumper replacement is the JP Vizage one, but it's a pretty aggressive one.

Carlsson does also. But that's besides the point since the OP already stated that he had switched to the sport bumpers.

No, I had not replaced my bumper. It is still the luxury.

Thanks for the suggestions, all!

Misleading reply of mine. It /looks/ like a sport overall. I considered a cf diffuser as the last, most visible, element to be added. I did not consider the looks of a sport vs luxury bumper to be a part of that visual transformation.

BUMP

Are there any other Luxury diffuser options out there? It seems to be nearly impossible to find. Changing my bumper to the sport kind, having it painted, and then getting the diffuser doesn't seem to be a good route to go.

Any other options out there, and if so, where to purchase?

.. i don't believe its physically possible to change the diffuser on the luxury as its molded with the bumper (someone tell me if I'm wrong) so you're wasting a whole lot of time searching for something that doesn't exist.. unless you plan on dremeling out the existing placement on the luxury and fabricating a diffuser, its the vizage rear lip (which looks great IMHO) , carlsson (their luxury version looks better than their sport version IMHO) , or a sport bumper.

Do you have any links for purchase for the ones that you mentioned? I can't seem to find the luxury version of either of the two that you mentioned.

There is a crease on the bumper that looks like where the diffuser would be put into place -- is that not removable?

thats where im not sure. I've never taken a look at the luxury up close but I assumed the diffuser crease is actually sealed and not removable. Just take a look and you can tell if its removable, although considering vizage AND carlsson made lips instead of just the diffuser, I doubt it.

On another note, I can't seem to find the carlsson rear for sale. Contact a shop and see if they can get it albeit the carlsson is gonna be EXPENSIVE. Sonic was helping one of their customers get rid of a c-class when I was in the market for one and I remember Jastein telling me the carlsson kit was over 2k without all the bondo work they did (which made it look A LOT better but also makes the mod permanent).

heres a link I found for vizage. Can't comment on the dealer since I've never dealt with them. Hope this helps

Thanks for all of your help and research man. It seems like I should finally kill this thread and conclude that I just need to get a Sport bumper. *sigh*

Thanks again!

Thanks! Considering the price though, I think I am just going to go the rear bumper route.

I found a C63 bumper (not a look-a-like, but a C63 rear bumper). Will this fit my C300?
