Recently got a 2010 C300 and Hello
This is my second go round with a Benz. My prior was a 1981 300D that belonged to my parents (purchased new in 1981). I 'inherited' it and drove it in high school 91-93..and then after for about a year until it just died at 326k miles. That car was a beast!!!!
Fast forward to now....love the C300! It has black exterior/interior..very classy looking! Purchased with 42k miles for a pretty good price from a leasing company. MB World so far has helped me figure out the weird knob and audio/phone system and the ins and outs of the car. This car rocks but it is sitting in for repair at the dealer for warranty covered work.
Issues:
1. Several buttons on the doors, consoles, and steering wheel were chipped and white was showing.
2. The control knob - turn to scroll issue (make note..this is still happening up to 2010 model)
3. Rear AC/Heat vent - slider missing
4. Plastic piece under audio/phone display warped
5. Chroming along the driver door panel kinking up and bubbling
6. Chroming around cup holders in center console severely chipped and flaking
7. A recall issue
MB is fixing it all. Cost: almost $8k (and a couple of k more in labor) to replace all the modules and parts.
Now thats commitment to the product! They could have just said...hey its used and not our problem.
I am glad to be back in a Benz and loving the awesome customer support.
