Has anyone used this product preferably on a black car if possible? I have a lot of road rash on front bumper, fenders hood and rear bumper. Does it work well? Videos seem legit but who knows. Color of mine is 040 black. Any help is appreciated.

I've used it for some minor road rash on the area behind the wheel wells. The color match is perfect (mine is palladium silver, can't speak for black), however it's a bit tricky to fill in the divot just right with the "blob remover" fluid. It still is a lot cheaper than a full paint job and virtually unnoticeable from a foot away. I'd say give it a shot, can't hurt.

From what I understand you blob it and then smear it then use the solution to remove excess paint. probably will have to go over some parts a few times for deeper chips. I appreciate your response ill give it a go for $60 instead of a 2k respray.

I swear by this product - posted about numerous times on here...I have found it works better on darker colors, metallic or not (I have Raven Black CTS, Steel Grey C350, Millennium Silver Lexus), still happy with the results on the light silver color also..Follow the simple directions, smear it properly, and on the final step do not use pressure to speed up the job, let the solvent do the work with light pressure numerous passes...You will not be disappointed, if the chips are real deep, apply additional coats until smooth...(tip, solvent runs out before the paint, order an extra one - good luck)

I've used it on my '09 black C350 with good results. Like most have said, it isn't perfect, but it covers the primer so you don't have a spray of light gray stone-chip dots all over your hood and bumper. Scratches are more difficult to fill, but again at least it helps camouflage the spot better than leaving it alone.
