OEM Bolt Size & Shape That Come Standard on 18" AMG Wheels
Hi All - I searched before this question but could not find a clear cut answer on what type of replacement bolts I need for the 18" OEM AMG wheels.
I bought 5mm spacers for my wheels and the bolts that came with it I am not sure if they are the right ones, plus they are chrome and do not match the front bolts and I will be needing new ones anyway.
Do I need the "ball" bolts or the "cone" bolts?
TIA for help!

can you tell by the picture if these are Ball or Cone? These are from ebay and say they work for the w204:

if your going with the 5mm spacer ... they are disc/hub centric but not hub centric to the rims. in order to get things lined up and balanced... i used some super glue to hold the spacer to the back of the rim (lining it up to the holes before setting in place). then the challenge is holding the rim in place to eyeball the centering and tighten the bolts at the same time. not easy to get it right. well i found the solution via my local mb parts manager...
i purchased 3 of these 5" long pins to assure perfect alignment. screw 3 in...finger tight... slide the wheel over the rods and install two bolts, removing a rod at a time and install the rest of the bolts for a perfect alignment.

If you are looking to see where to get this. Here is a lug bolt guide and some place to where to get it.

Steven beat me to it as I was typing apparently. More help never a bad thing I guess...
They're called wheel alignment hangers. VW actually supplied a plastic one as part of the spare tire kit back in the day. The rear brake discs would rotate, making it difficult to line up the holes w/ the hub. Didn't know MB actually carried a similar tool. ECS carries both the plastic and metal versions...

I just added 5mm front spacers to my c350, 14mmx1.5 thread type. The bolts were 35mm ball type and I got them from H and R, theyre painted silver. Everything good so far!

Just to confirm... My 11 C300 Sport has the stock staggered 17s. I bought the OEM AMG rims off the 204 and they're being shipped. I can use the original lug bolts,
