Help required, please assist!
Hi guys!
I'm a new member to the forum but a long time lurker. I'm making my first post here becoz of an issue with my car and I thought it'd be better to have some idea of what sort of problem it is before I seek help.
It has happened twice now. It feels like some sort of power loss while accelerating. Both happened when I stepped on it "hard"( but not flooring it), then the car feels like it has lost power or electricity, like it was just rolling on momentum for 2 seconds then everything comes back. (Imagine urself flooring the car, then let the gas off. That's kinda how it felt like)
The first time that it happened, I was waiting for traffic to clear and make a turn, I caught a glimpse of the message that poped on the cluster "Autolights inoperable". I pulled over after the turn and everything was fine cept for a paranoid driver.
2nd time, it JUST happened and I didnt catch what poped up on the cluster.
I've talked to some of my friends, some say it's a misfire, some say its electrical. Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

C220 CDI SLK 200
Had the same problem in my W203 C200. it turned out to be the transducer in the accelerator pedal. Cost me over 1000 bucks to replace and the wife wrote my car off the day after i got it fixed
