Thumbs down Right Rear Taillight Harness Problems

I know there is people on here that have had the same problem over and over and over again,

this will be my 3rd time going to the dealer, and tired of it since iam 1hr away from them.

I notice on the right rear tailight the brown wire arc's or melts with the load/ heat it runs under,

is there a DIY to repair other than dealer or replacing the harness?

thanks

The brown wire is chassis ground, apparently for the entire light which seems to be the problem.

So can one simply reground it to another location or change the gauge of the wire?
