That would be much appreciated as I recently changed my fluid but only from the tranny case and could not drain the tq converter. I have a 2010 C200 lux model with the 5spd auto.

Thanks for the link. Question: which models have the 722.93 transmission? From reading other threads, it appears that some dealers are referencing the "drain torque converter...except 722.93" clause to not drain the TC. Are these used in the diesel models?

I believe all 08 and later c300 models have a TC plug with exception of some 08's without one which is rare, those that don't are possibly the diesel models or manual? not exactly 100% sure.

When i took my 2009 in for the transmission service last year, the techs confirmed that there was not a drain plug in my torque converter. I watched 3 guys under my car rotate the engine looking for the plug. They didn't find one.

As I have posted too many times, my Sept. 2007 production Bremen C300 has a TC drain. How early is early?

Hello. Thanks for the great write up. I have a 2005 E500 with the 722.901 transmission. I would like to get the new transmission oil pan. I've looked everywhere for the part number for that. Could you please post the part number for the new oil pan and what non-dealer places I can get one?

Do you guys have any info for the manual transmission service? I understand that the transmission mostly does not need to be serviced however I would like to have the oil changed for various reasons... thanks for any info.

how much fluid goes in the full transmission service? i have my service right now I want to make sure they put the right amount in. with the Tc drain aw well I believe I saw 8-9quarts i'll keep digging but maybe someone will know faster than i can find it.

Indeed it is. Nema nacemu. Make sure they don't charge you extra for draining the TC either. In their WIS (workshop information system) the steps for the 39k transmission service indicate draining the TC as well. Some dealerships, not saying all, like to do a half *** job for the full price like mine did. Being informed is their worst enemy. Hope it goes well!

My guess is you have an automatic.
In Europa we used to frown on people buying automatics...
Anyway, the user manua will tell you the quantity your car needs.
You can confirm this with the parts department.
