2008 c300 sport 4matic
Rear brake pads, rotors, senor and oil change
I had my 2008 c300 sport 4matic serviced at 72,500 miles. Just a full synthetic oil change. I noticed the sticker in my window says I'm due for an oil change (~77,500). I thought that was a bit early and not remembering what mileage I last had an oil change I contacted the garage where my vehicle was serviced. I had also remembered the garage mentioning my rear brakes where almost due for service, so I requested a quote. (Prices are attached but difficult to read, rear disc rotors: 139.60, rear pad set: 92.65, rear brake sensor: 14.60, Labor 227.99, plus taxes, total: $511.04) Do these prices seem okay? This quote is using OEM Mercedes parts. There have been no service lights flashing in the vehicle yet.
Also, MB does oil changes every 13k not 5k? Should I listen to the garage? I believe the last oil used was Mobile One.
Below I've attached the quote for the rear brakes.
Thanks,
Troy

By shopping around online you should be able to get the Pads, Rotors and sensors for perhaps 20% less.
http://www.rockauto.com is one site $170 for rotors and pads
It is a very easy job to replace the rear set takes about 45 minutes and can be done at any good brake shop for much less than the 227 dollars quoted. But you dont get a loaner to thrash around for a day and the coffee machines are not as good.
As for oil changes the car will let you know when that is required
