Navigation Unit for c300 2009
Hey!
I wanted to get the navigation screen (screen pop) and the radio unit with the 40gb storage.
Today sent a request to dealer if possible to have it, gave my vin# and unfortunately dealer said not possible since my car is only for Audio-20. So he suggest me the UMI interface ...
My question is... Anybody try to replace the audio-20 with the navigation command, I know require wiring but will it work?

I gonna start ordering each part needed and wait until July to install it, since I'm under my warranty.

I really don't understand why somebody would spend all that money and retrofit the factory navigation. It pretty much sucks, to begin with. Aftermarket units cost a fraction and do things much better and effectively.
I do get that somebody wants the factory look and all that, but still...
Not to mention all the music options.
My wife's car happened to come with MM, but if it didn't, it wouldn't have been a deal breaker, for sure.
