2009 C300 HID/Parking Lights/Fogs
I've been the forum for awhile. I read some things on the forum but I still need a little direction. Just got the chance to get my own Mercedes. I currently have a c300, had it since March now. I purchased some DDM HID with ballast. I'm running 8k with 55w. Now that it's my first winter, sometimes my HID flickers or turns off. There would be times where I can to turn off my car and back on for my lights to turn back on. Sometimes one light goes out or both. Any feedback or input why? Didn't do that in the summer.
Also had a couple questions about parking lights, I tried some no error w5wb lights but they just flicker on and off can never stay on.
I bought some fog lights with my HIDs. I purchased the h7 fog lights from DDM too. They also flicker but don't fully turn on. Read that I had to buy an extra part but I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the help y'all.

your first mistake was getting an hid kit, they're a waste of money and annoying ballasts and wires. Mine used to do that in my Cadillac when it was cold, the ballasts aren't meant to withstand cold wether very well hence most of the hid kits come from China.

How is this one: http://www.hidkitxenonlights.com, made in Germany, German IC, etc. ?
I am considering HID kit on my other car, to see if it works well, then on my C. Is 35 Watts bright enough compared to factory helogen?
Thanks

So saying I bought another brand kit from USA then it should work fine? They just turned off and flickered back on on the way home tonight. Is 55w too powerful to run? I don't know if the C is use to 55w than 35w.

As mentioned above, theretrofitsource.com sells high quality hid kits. I use a 55w kit from them and have no issues with flickering or lights randomly turning off.

I see. I got recommended DDM so I brought from them. Probably because it's a cheap kit. But anyone have any thoughts about the parking lights?

Did you purchase the error cancellers w/ your HIDs? If not, that's why they are flickering. 55W HIDs may work w/o, but the cancellers would guarantee they won't flicker.
Are your parking lights LED? If so and they too are flickering, it's probably just bad bulbs (check for burn marks or any dislodged resistors).
