Stock 18" amg wheels, but not the C63 AMG wheels right? Wheel specs for those should be something like 18x8 +50, 18x8.5 +54

Are they 18x7.5/18x8.5 or 18x8.5/18x9.5? If they are the first sizes you won't find a good tire to stretch on a 7.5. Smallest you can go would be 205/40 on 7.5 and a 215/40 on the 8.5. If its the second set of sizes go 215/40 on 8.5 and 225/40 on the 9.5, this is the setup I'm running on my incoming Brabus IV's. going with a 35 series sidewall on tires that small will leave very little lip protection and you may not be low enough to not have gap so I say 40 series sidewall.

It all really depends on what look you are going for. In the VW world we usually run 205/40 on an 8 for a nice stretch and 215/40 on an 8.5. Really depends on how aggressive of a stretch you are after. Most people would run a 225 or 235 on an 8 and 235 or 245 on an 8.5 for no stretch so go down from there. Also, use this site for reference. On my Jetta I have 215/40 all around on 18x8.5/9.

Heres a 205/40 on an 8:

Here's a 215/40 on an 8.5 on my car, hard to see but should give you an idea.
