I should have taken some pictures, but it started fogging (right rear tail light) below and on the lower LED bar (starting on the right side and moving toward the center). I'm guessing a sealing issue (the gasket material it came with wasn't impressive) that was compounded on by the lack of vents (nowhere else for the air to go).
Also, they sound like the neon lights that you see in bars. Quite loud if you stand there and listen.
Last thing, I believe the "LED" (if that's what they really are) strips are actually much brighter on the aftermarket ones. The OEM have vertical "lines" that are distinct (at certain angles) through the LED bars. These aftermarket ones do not - it's one solid color all the way across.
I, personally, would go with smoked if I were to buy these again.

Lots people in this thread can reprogram your SAM, only for 08 09 MY tho. For 2010+ you need to buy 08 09 SAM for about $400 not worth it imo

so if i need to change oem tail light, i need to get 2008-09
sam unit and sent it for reprogrammed. then just swipe with my current sam with new oem tail light.

Any chance you have the part number for the SAM required? Thinking of doing this to my 2011.
