Unhappy fanny lights


hi

my C230 2005 lights don’t work

when the deadlights ON

1- when I use right side integator the medal brake light flash

2- when I use left side integator the right brake light flash & the headlightsflash

3- the till light don’t work

4- the rear fog lights don’t work

can some one help me out what to look for

Sounds like you have a serious electrical issue. I've never heard of faulty lights in this level. Take it to the dealer and have them scan for codes and also physically check the tail lights. I know some ppl experienced bad grounding and its possible you havesomething similar.

i did go to dealer , and been told to look for the ground wire but i cant find it
for the tail lights the bulbs are fine and no build up on the lights or holdar

sound like serious issue ,but its nothing as long the car can run.
can check the sam and fuse. its only wiring.

If you went to the dealer then you shouldn't have been told to look for ANYTHING, the dealer should be the one looking. The ground wire I think is the brown wire at the connectors behind the tail lights. I would also consider maybe faulty relay(s). If this problem is persistent then the dealer can clearly see the issue and diagnose it. Bring it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

BTW, 2005 is a W203 chassis, this is the W204 subforum. Ask the mods to tow your thread to the correct subforum so you can get better answers.
