M271 diagram/picture or information site?
Hi all. I have a 2013 C250 with the latest (and last) version of the M271. I believe it's the M271 EVO (CGI BlueEfficiency). U.S. model - no STOP/START.
I've googled and I can't find a site with pictures and explanation and specs specific to my engine. Anyone here know of anything? All the stuff I find is specific to old M271 with Kompressor or Euro spec models that don't apply to mine.
Things like....on the top of my engine, on the left as part of the engine cover, there is a round thing, looks like a circular vent, round and black. What is it?? It almost looks like I could spin it.
How big is my turbo? Who makes it? Where is it?
Really be good to have that type of information. What do you experts use?
Thanks!

2010 C200 CGI
As for everything else, there is no data available, we're not sure why, maybe just how MB works but alot of us have been trying to find some. Short of you taking stuff apart yourself, you're in the dark with us.
As Petje stated, your turbo is on the left side of the engine (if you're facing your engine), look down and follow the intake tract and you will see it.
We speculate that there are differences in the turbo used between the 180,200 and 250 CGI models as well as the tuning.

Thanks for the replies.
I guess, as long as MB dealer techs know the location and repair procedures for the engine components, everything will be ok.
Does MB ever allow publishers to release books like VW/Audi does for Bentley manuals? A quick search on Amazon for W204 comes up short, so I think I know the answer
