Record of warranty work done on 2009-C230 4MATIC to-date. How does yours compare?
I purchased a 2009 C230 4MATIC new, and have kept a record of the warranty work that has been done to date on the car, per the list below. I am curious to see how my list compares to others who own the same car. Please note that I baby the car, even though several items shown are for early 'wear and tear'. I did purchase the extended warranty.

- rough engine idle; replaced position sensor for right swirl flap; 7,294kms
- loud frame creaking noise from back seat; welded right rear susp tower; 7,294kms;
- wheels damaged by dealer on tire install; installed 4 new wheels; 7,294kms
- cracking on seat pan upholstery; replaced driver's seat cushion; 13,822kms
- driver side door trim loose; replaced door trim; 13,822kms
- premature wear on front pads and rotors; replaced; 26,230kms
- engine light staying on; replaced valve in fuel system; 32,146kms
- steering wheel rubbing through on top; replaced wheel cover; 32,544kms
- engine vibration when car in idle; replaced engine mounts; 35,839kms
- CD player not operable; replaced command unit; 37,836kms
- right and left signal light reversing; replaced steering module; 42,200kms
- chirping noise from heater; replaced heater blower; 42,200kms
