Dealer Refused to...
Reset my service B indicator due to not doing the inspection part on my 08 and changing the cabin air filter in which in my opinion is a waste of $150 when I can do it myself for much less, after stating that they refused to reset it. I don't know how they can refuse to reset something I ask if I'm going to do the rest of the service. Any comments, advice ?

Is the service, as specified in the owners manual, up to date? If so, they should have reset it for you. Sounds like they may be a bit **** on the subject but no worries.

Service is up to date I just told them I didn't want to pay for a visual inspection and cabin air filter change,tire rotation which is fair because I could do that myself. the car is CPO I bought it last year and I have extended warranty

Just follow the video and do it yourself it is easy. They might not want to do it because they did not do the complete service and by resetting it they are writing off your work as OK.

However, you might want to make sure the CPO or your extended warranty doesn't require official workshop visits to keep them valid.
Just sayin'...

I Did visit the workshop, just to have them do the more technical stuff such as oil change , other than that they can't void my warranty for not having lube placed on screws etc. because that makes no sense to begin with.
Also thank you all that have responded ill just do what is supposed to be done besides the oil change and reset it myself.
