Instrument Cluster

Few things.

08 C300 Sport
Bought in Jan. of last year(a year ago exactly)
Car was CPO , Along with extended warranty and a 60 day-3000 mile warranty.

I found a Crack in the instrument cluster about a month after having the vehicle , at the time it was hard to see up front but more at an angle.
The dealership SA agreed it needed to be changed and he ordered the part, come install day i bring the car in and am advised its not covered under warranty?

Theres no way i can get to the instrument cluster nor would i mess around and break something.
No impact, no wear and tear just a simple crack in the middle.

They have refused to change it due to it not being an electrical part but didn't notice it on a 200 point inspection?

I'm afraid down the road when i don't have warranty itll get bigger or something along those lines and i would have to pay out of my pocket for an already over paid what they claimed CPO car.

Any suggestions, input , would help. Thank you.
