Mercedes C250cdi Sport AMG
W204 - Amplifier installation
I am looking to add a subwoofer to my UK spec w204.

I have been told that I will require a RCA to speaker converter which makes sense.

The one I have been advised to purchase also handles the remote (switch on/off cable) This unit is expensive.

I have read that some installs have wired the remote to a 12v feed, has anyone done this ? Any issues?

I am told the most common place is the cigarette lighter ?
