C300 4Matic Sport Lease End question
Not sure if this is the right place to post this question.
My 2011 C300 4Matic Sport Lease ends soon. It has only 21000 miles on it. Allowed mileage was 33750. I am wondering if low miles could be used as a leverage to negotiate lease end fees with a dealer. In other words, shop around for dealer who would cover for the fees - $600.
Any other advise to avoid paying that fees is welcome as well. I am switching to BMW so buying or leasing another MB is not an option.

You could always try carmax and see if their offer is higher than your buyout or trade it in to the BMW dealer and see how much they are willing to offer you. You could be in the black and have extra money to throw down towards the new car.

My lease on my 09 ML is up in April and am going to buy the car. The buy out is a great price. My independent MB mechanic offered my 3K above my buy out but I am going to buy it. I love the car and have had it since day 1. The dealer did not want to negotiate because they wanted it back. they would have put I on he lot for 7K over the buyout. If your dealer will work with you good luck. You can take Cy3's option and see how that works.

My wife's 2011 C300 4Matic trade in value is way under the buy out price, like $5K. We must have gotten a 61 or 62% residual when we did the original lease.
You may want to check with some of the other MB dealer's used car salesman. With a car with low mileage I was able to sell a 2 year old Infiniti to the dealer for more than CarMax offered.
Keep in mind how the sales tax for your new purchase deals with the trade. Here in MD it is much better to trade a car in because the value of the trade is deducted from the purchase price. So if you are buying a $30K car but trading in $20K then taxes are only on the difference. So that is a $1200 savings at 6%. ($1800 vs $600).
