Quad tip conversion complete.
Looks much more aggressive than original dual pipe set up. Special thanks to Fung63 for the diffuser.

This is the quad tip I purchased, a local muffler shop weld them on for $50. I changed the diffuser myself by following a DIY post on this forum.
I got the magnflow xpipe when I first got my car, loving it so far.

Snowmuch I bought the same tips as you on ebay and mine came out exactly like yours but I kept overthinking maybe they stick out too much but looking at your car reassured me back to happiness so I thank you!!!

Those are the exact same tips I have and from the pictures it looks like they do stick out a little bit too much. You should compared theme with an actual c63 and you will notice that they should not be out that much.
I had the same problem happened to mine and it bothered me a lot, so I went back to the shop and got them to tuck it in properly to make it look like the c63 one's. The AMG etching on top should not be as clearly visible. But after getting them tucked in, I think it's perfect now. Cost me like $240 for two rounds but the second time I also got the xpipe installed.

There is no gain in power because its just an extaust tip conversion. I have noticed that the sound is different when I have no extaust tip on my car. With quad it does sounds a tiny bit louder, if you're not an audiophile you won't hear the difference

To each their own I guess. I thought it looked much better with it sticking out too until I changed my mind. I just wanted to have it as stock to a c63 as possible.
