Coolant Flush Question

HI All,

I need to flush the coolant in my 2008 C300 because I'm replacing the thermostat but I can't seem to locate the drain plug. My wife's C230 has a red drain plug underneath the front of the car but I can't seem to locate anything in the C300, maybe i'm just an idiot and I don't see it but any info would be appreciated. thanks

Take a look at your manual. The W204 coolant lasts 15 years without needing to be changed.

If you do change it make sure you use the MB recommended coolant & also their silica gel satchel.

I seriously hope you don't go by every listed interval by MB. Some of their time tables are ridiculously long and overextended I find. You should look at your driving habits, environment etc and adjust the intervals as per.

Nope , change my engine oil at 10,000 km , auto trans at 50,000 km, brakes & power steering oil, 2 yearly.
My coolant at 64,000 km & nearly 6 years is bright, clean & like new.
