Power steering
I've noticed when turning barely when driving it is a very loud noticeable whining noise, or even when I accelerate sometimes the car will whine . if I turn toouch it sound like a popping whining noise. I checked the fluid and its fine. Any idea ?

Jack up the front end & try to replicate the noise turning the wheel with the engine running , bonnet open & your head inside.

I think I remember Glyn mentioning something about this (don't quote me on this). The power steering is really sensitive to even a slight decrease in fluid. Try topping off and turn your wheels left and right 5-10 times to remove any trapped air.

Thanks domm,
I've done that and no luck, pump is probably going out or the bushings or whatever they're called. Anyone expierence a whine when accelerating? I know its not normal to be very loud.

Time to pull out the old stethoscope. Just be sure you do not catch it in the belt & pullieys.
