Been looking at new wheels/tires for weeks and everyone I have talked to has said 245's up front are too much for the c300. You may be able to squeeze them in there but I would expect problems at some point. Never seen anyone recommend more than 235's up front.

You might rub at front. Stick with 235s at front.

Personally I have W212 wheels on my car and have no issues with the 245 up front. Seems to fill the wheel wells nicely and sits close to flush with the fender. No sticking out and no rubbing.

Okey nice! And your wheel specs? Do you have 245s all around?

Not 245 all around. They are standard E class set up so

Front: 245/40/18
Back: 265/35/18

Here is a pic where you can kind of see the clearance and how flush it is. If you want a better pic I can take a better shot for you.

Matt doesn't have 4matic. 4matic cars are usually a tad lower than RWD c-class so you "might" rub specially if you are going down on a steep hill and turning.

That's a good point. I must have missed that in the original post.

Looks good! So you have exactly same set on that i'm planning.
Those wheels are also 8,5 x 18 (ET 48) and 9 x 18“ (ET 54) right?

Yes those dimensions are correct. But like banjo said, it might be different for you since you have 4 matic. On my last car (C250 MY13) did rub when turning left but that was because part of the inner fender was bent weird. But when I tested 18 inch, 235 up front, it still rubbed until I went to the original 225 17 inch rims. Again not the width so much as the rim size overall, other than that I love the way they look, especially how well they fill out the arches without any spacers.

Any E Class NFL W212 on 235/45/18?

I'm currently on 245/40/18 on all 4 tyres, anyone ever used 225/45/18 or 235/45/18?

245 on 17's

I was hoping someone could tell me if I could put a 245 on the front of my 2011 c300 4matic I had the staggered setup and I got new rims same size but unfortunately not staggered they are 17 by 8 which I didn't find out until they put them on so I really want to make them all the same size and I didn't want to go smaller in the back so I just want to make the front wider
