I bought 2 folding mirrors with a new keyboard and 2 new front control units, the car originally doesnt have folding mirrors. After I fitted them they dont work. How can I get the software code. The dealer doesnt want to help because I fitted them myself. I have an estate c 180 year 2012.
hope someone can help me.

It should be in the settings menu accessed through the steering wheel/gauge cluster.

It has to be programmed through the dealer's MB Xentry computer. No other way around it, from what I have found.

Folding mirrors programming

The dealer will not do the programming because I have to buy the whole system from them. My car is still under warranty, it is jan 2012. I have a friend who has the MB cable and xentry on his laptop but he can not find the proper code is it because my car is new and the codes are still secrets or is it not upgradable?
I paid 1000 us dollars for the system and the dealer for the install of folding mirrors wants 3000 us dollars. So will I be able to program them or my car is not upgradable?
Hope I get answers?
