Lamin-x for fogs
i received my fog film and was really unhappy with the dimensions. it was entirely too big. i understand that it is likely that some of it should be forced into the gap between the glass and chrome surround, but regardless...it was WAY too big. i have experience installing 6-10 mil film so even though this was a little thick it didn't matter. the size was wrong. i ruined one so i bailed on the idea for now.
if i knew ahead of time that it was so big i could have trimmed it or just elected to get some custom cut.

i should have likely removed the chrome bezel to install but if it was cut smaller i wouldn't have to do that and i still could have gotten it to wrap around the edges. i didn't know the film was so big until i went to install it.

I thought the same thing when I bought mine but once I removed the chrome and wrapped it around the light I was glad it was bigger than the face. Really easy to install if you take the chrome off, and almost impossible to have the edges start peeling up. I assume the adhesive is top-notch stuff but this way takes any doubt away.

Any instructions on how to remove the chrome covers, fog lights? My one side is cracked and I need to replace it with a new one. Any idea where I can buy the new one, replace it and apply these protective shields, so they don't crack again?

As for the cheapest place. I just ordered a driver side Hella from rmeuropean.com . They had the best prices for the OEM hella ones. I previously tried ordering some TYC and Depo aftermarket ones and they're different and don't fit the sport round fogs. I don't know about the oval ones.

to be honest I don't know. This worked for me. but yours might be different since you have an AMG. there is three different bumpers for the c class. Luxury, Sport, and AMG Different fog light set up. Im assuming you have an AMG since thats what youve got in your sig. Just dont force anything.

yea just remove the torx and it will come off. Mine was perfect once you remove the chrome, it wasn't to big. The yellowing does occur because the bulb burns to hot, but if you live in a state where the weather does not require you to have fogs, you can switch your bulbs to LED and that will eliminate the yellowing.

Yes that 1 screw visible from the front of the car under the light is for adjustment. The chrome surround is held on by J hooks. To remove it without any chance of braking the hooks, remove two of the push-clips on the front fender liner. (wheel well towards the front of the car) Then pop your hand in from behind the fog and release the J hooks. 2 minutes max. To remove the fender liner push clips - pull out the smaller center pin with a trim removal tool or a flat head screwdriver, then the larger ones come out easily.
