Transmission Flush
The rear break pads are at 8 mm, when should I have them replaced?
Go "advanced" and put "Glyn Ruck" as the author. Key words are [ transmission oil change torque converter ]
BTW:
Just a little reminder about setting up your user cp:
___________________ *** All Members, New and some Old *** _______________
Please click on User CP at the top black band on the page, just below the thread title. Click Edit Your Details to provide your location: city & state, and non-US country if applicable. Then click Signature, and add year, model(Hatch?), 6S or 6i, and mods as others have done.
This helps others respond to issues & problems, like tires, part sales, troubleshooting, etc. Thanx
.
When you get it done, make sure it's done correctly. This means draining the fluid not only from the trans itself but also from the torque converter area. Sadly, most dealers in the US only do half the job. It's covered in detail by one of the sticky threads on this forum. You might want to check it out.

You need to get all the old fluid out and all new fluid in. My new-to-me 2011 C300 has just 11,800 miles but when it gets to 39,000 I will have it done properly. It is worth the extra expense for the peace of mind.
