How to Remove Bi-Xenon Headlamps

Hi All,

I've 2010 W204 with Bi-Xenon headlamps. Just wondering if anyone can share the steps to remove it? I'm thinking to change it to Philips Xenon X-treme Vision (4800K) D1S.

I've open up the plastic cover and notice it seem to have a clip at the back of the Bulb's base. Should I remove that? or how can i remove it?

I've figured out the metal clip. Silly me, it was super easy.

Just wondering, should I disconnect the battery before pulling out the HID Bulb?

I dont think you need to disconnect the battery. Ive never pulled the bulbs from my W204 but I didnt get shocked when removing them from my 2008 A4

Hey can you tell me how you removed the clip? I have absolutely no idea. Did you have to remove the headlight assembly?

Actually just push the clip in (toward the front of the car) and then move it slightly towards the left (or right) then the clip will be unlock from the hook.
