Exterior Headlamp switch Doesn't work
Weird thing with my 08 C300,
The exterior headlamp switch does nothing, the exterior lights are stuck on with the ignition and if I switch the switch to on with the ignition off nothing happens, same for parking lights and fog lights. Also, the surround light doesn't come on when I unlock the car and none of the diodes on the switch dial come on.
My battery has been low and I have been jumping the car frequently as I am waiting on a battery on order.
This sucks, seems like its going to be some horrible electronic gremlin that will be extremely hard to trace and expensive to fix. I just left for the week, but I am hoping when I get back maybe disconnecting the battery and reseting everything will work.
Also, I had left the fuse box cover off with the hood half latched. It rained and little bit of water got into the top of the fuse box around a black relay. I am wondering if perhaps one of these black relays shorted and is having an effect on the car.
If any one has any ideas please share because this is last PIA thing I want to be dealing with!
