I was driving down the Jersey turnpike and drove over an expansion joint. The mild jolt caused my driver's side rear passenger door to open. It didn't swing open fully, thank goodness, but popped open like when you don't close the door fully. First time it's ever happened and of course, like clockwork at 50,000 miles....

Anyone have any suggestions on a fix? Is there a TSB for this problem?

I'm worried about taking it to the stealership.

Too bad there isn't some way to "trick" the car that its not really that old and have that many miles and running off warranty soon. Kind of like when you need to set the computer clock back to an older date to trick software

I've had maybe two instances where I've hit a pothole pretty hard which caused the doors to unlock but never caused any of the doors to open. I think I saw a post somewhere that depending on the force of the hit/bump it would cause the doors to unlock as a safety precaution. Don't quote me on that though.
